Fall and winter are upon us and we’re starting to feel the chill in the air that signals the coming of the holiday season. However, before we can fully immerse ourselves in the holidays, we need to stop and remember that today is Remembrance Day.
Every year on November 11 at 11:11am we hang our heads in silence and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Because of them we live in a country where we are free to live and celebrate the holiday season with our friends and family around the world.
We all remember in our own way: Some visit cenotaphs, others spend time with parents and grandparents, and others will stop whatever they are doing at 11:11 and take a quiet moment of reflection.
All of us at Ironlace sincerely appreciate everything that our soldiers and veterans have done for our freedoms. We will be participating in the moment of silence today and hope you will join us.
